Navigating the playback of the timeline and user interface
Timeline
The timeline waveform can viewed and scaled in many ways:
Vertical waveform zoom - Drag underneath the waveform.
Horizontal waveform zoom - Pinch with 2 fingers on the trackpad or Option scroll or drag the zoom region’s (below the waveform) circular ends.
Waveform gain - Increase the waveform gain for low-level tracks.
Scroll timeline - Dragging with 2 fingers left & right on the trackpad or click & drag the zoom region left or right.
Multitrack View
Allows a breakdown view of individual CuePoint Types. Easily move CuePoints with a busy timeline. Currently limited to displaying a maximum of 17 CuePoint Types.
Scrub Bar
See the overall progress of the current track playback. Drag the scrub bar to jump to different parts of the track.
Controls
Play / Pause - Start and stop playback
Forward / Back Skip - Arrow key skip timings can be customised in a specific number of frames or seconds depending on the combination of Shift or Command keys. This can be set within Settings.
Skip to Start / End - Jump to start / end of the track.
Loop mode - When playback is paused, playhead returns back to the starting position.
Volume - Adjust only the track audio volume, any routed striped LTC or generated LTC isn’t affected by this slider.
Cue List
Click on the time column of a given cue to jump to the cue position or use the up and down arrow keys to jump from cue to cue.
