An overview of licence types and how to install/remove them
Types Of Licences
- Reader licence is the free version, which allows anyone to open and view CuePoints projects. When installing CuePoints for the first time (un-licenced) it will be in reader mode. Great for opening projects, viewing notes and communicating your ideas. Reader mode also acts as a demo for users, in reader mode, you can only add up to 10 cues and export these for testing purposes. The Reader version enables limited functionality for trying out the software before purchase.
- Pro licence unlocks full the functionality of CuePoints, unlimited tracks & cues, full export functionality, OSC and project saving.
- Teams licence has identical functionality as pro licences but allows businesses or institutions with multiple licences to manage their seats by a centralised user. Teams also have the advantage of reduced prices on multiple licence purchases.

1 licence is required per computer. Licences are not designed to be shared or frequently transferred between machines. A licence can only be activated on a single machine at one time.

Installing Licences
To activate your licence click on Reader on the bottom left of the splash screen, or go to CuePoints > Licence Activation…
Enter the licence key that you received via email and the corresponding email address.
Misplaced your licence key email? Just enter your email address and press the Resend to your email and you will be sent a reminder email.
Removing Licences
If you need to transfer your licence to another machine, simply revisit the splash screen or go to CuePoints > Licence Activation… and click deactivate before adding the licence on another machine.
Remote Deactivation
In the event that you are unable to access the machine your licence is installed on, you can remotely deactivate your licence. Go to the splash screen or CuePoints > Licence Activation… and enter the licence key that you received via email and the corresponding email address. If the licence key is being used on another machine you will be prompted to remotely deactivate the other machine. Then you can proceed with activating CuePoints on your new machine.
