Customisable Keyboard Shortcuts
The following keyboard shortcuts are user customisable within CuePoints > Keyboard Shortcuts
. Select an action (row) from the list and then press a key to assign it. Below is a list of the assignments by default.

Skip Playhead Backwards | ← (+ Shift and CMD for different amounts of skip) | Skips the playhead forward by a preset amount or when holding Option key will move selected CuePoints also |
Skip Playhead Forwards | → (+ Shift and CMD for different amounts of skip) | Skips the playhead forward by a preset amount or when holding Option key will move selected CuePoints also |
Previous CuePoint | ↑ | Jump to the previous CuePoint |
Next CuePoint | ↓ | Jump to the next CuePoint |
Skip To Start | Comma | Move the playhead to the start of track |
Previous Track | < | Select the previous track |
Next Track | > | Select the next track |
Toggle Repeat Loop | R | When playback is paused, playhead returns back to the starting position |
Snap Selected To Playhead | S | Current selection will be moved to the playhead |
Label Current CuePoint | L | Label / rename the selected CuePoint |
Fade Current CuePoint | F | Specify the fade time of the selected CuePoint |
CuePoint Types
CuePoints (cues) can also be added via keyboard shortcuts, by default the first 10 visible CuePoints are assigned to number keys 1 to 0. The assigned number key is also indicated next to the CuePoint name along the top of the window. You can disable auto populate numeric shortcuts
and customise each CuePoint to be any key.
Skip Forward / Back
Skips the playhead forward by a customised amount or when holding the Option
key it will also move selected CuePoints. Arrow key skip timings can be customised in a specific number of frames or seconds in Settings depending on a combination of the Shift
or Command
key.
Move Playhead Position when Moving CuePoints
When dragging CuePoints on the timeline, the playhead will move with the CuePoints. This can be useful if you want to scrub media at the same time as aligning a CuePoint. This behaviour can be customised within Settings. Depending on setting, the Control
key can be held to enable / disable the movement of the playhead when dragging CuePoints.
